I live and work in Valletta, sculpturing in clay and then casting into bronze using a foundry. I have become an established contemporary sculptor by sending my sculptures for selection in International Exhibitions receiving awards Ist, 2nd and 3rd Prizes in Washington DC, USA. Honorable mention In Florida. Acceptance in prestigious exhibitions in London, Paris and Switzerland. My sculptures are in both public and private collections world wide from the Faroe Islands to Australia and lots of places in between, which is very gratifying. As an artist I work alone but have lost of wonderful students some for the day, others for years coming back with more complicated projects or just for the stimulation and camaraderie of working as artists together. Movement is very important to me, so a hare spinning to turn on one paw, or toting pig, or sleepy piglets pilled on top of one another are all a challenge to sculpt. Portraiture is also very simulating my youngest a 10-14 day old the oldest a 92 venerable woman, children have very individual traits so I film them, while adults can be photographed carefully with a few sittings in between.
