Why Giving Tuesday Matters
Launched in 2012 to counterbalance consumer-driven events like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday has evolved into a global movement of generosity. It now engages over 300 communities in 90 national campaigns, inspiring millions of people to give back to society through small and large donations in support of meaningful causes.

Education and Development Projects in Niger
One of our most impactful initiatives takes place in Niger, one of the poorest countries in the world, where 80% of the population lives in rural areas, and over 45% lives below the poverty line. Here, thousands of children lack access to basic education and are at risk of recruitment by armed groups, child labor, forced marriages, and abuse. Through our project in Niamey Rive Droite, in collaboration with Zoumaro Bah Traoré, a former Niger national rugby player, we provide education to children from the most vulnerable families.
The project goes beyond basic education, incorporating female empowerment programs to ensure girls have equal educational and social opportunities as boys. With just €160 per year, you can support a girl’s education for an entire year; €300 can fund a vocational training program; and €1,200 can restore a computer lab powered by solar energy, equipping youth with essential digital skills for the future.
