Roberta Conigliaro, sculptor from Syracuse, now lives in Rome. After graduating with a degree in Psychology, she worked in the psychiatric field for several years. In parallel, she began to explore sculpture. Self-taught, she initially worked with clay and later with stone. She began exhibiting her work in 2001. She has exhibited both in Italy and abroad, participating in various fairs and competitions.

For several years, she has been developing personal exhibition projects conceived by herself, where sculpture is accompanied by the written word, specifically poetry. One such project is “Due sponde un solo mare” (Two Shores, One Sea) on the theme of migration, an itinerant exhibition that was first exhibited at the Regional Museum of Trapani in 2016 and then continued in various cities, culminating in 2024 at the Civic Etruscan Museum of Trevignano Romano. The poems from this project are included in the last section of her poetry book “Anima errante” (Wandering Soul), published in 2018 by Scatole Parlanti.
